The Grand Forks Region Economic Development Corporation (EDC) has appointed Becca Cruger as its new Director of Economic Development, effective January 1, 2026.

As Director of Economic Development, Cruger will now oversee both business development and workforce strategy, supporting the EDC’s mission to drive long-term economic growth across the Grand Forks region. Her role will also include advancing data-driven planning and performance measurement to enhance regional competitiveness.

“Business retention and expansion remain our top priorities,” said Keith Lund, President and CEO of the Grand Forks Region EDC. “Becca’s new responsibilities further focus our efforts to support business investment in the region.”
Lund also expressed confidence that Cruger will bring the same passion and dedication to her new position that she demonstrated in her previous roles.
