Homegrown Infinity Design & Construction Group is expanding its state operations with a new $1.75 million facility in Floyd County, adding 36 high-wage jobs to the region. This new 4,073 sq. m. production space will help IDCG keep up with the increased demand for 3D scanning, 3D design, and construction services.
“Eastern Kentucky’s skilled workforce made this an ideal location for our next phase of growth. We’re excited to expand operations in this region while maintaining our commitment to Louisville,” said IDCG Executive Keith McKinney.
Founded in 2013, IDCG specializes in commercial and industrial piping, offering services like pipe fabrication, process piping installation, HVAC, and plumbing.
IDCG’s investment will create jobs with an average wage of $41.50 per hour, plus unionized healthcare and pension benefits.
State Rep. Ashley Tackett Laferty emphasized the expansion’s positive impact: “This project shows that Eastern Kentucky is the place for the next big success story.”
The Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development and local stakeholders supported the project, reinforcing Floyd County’s position as a hub for advanced manufacturing. The expansion aims to attract further economic opportunities to the region.
“We are grateful for Infinity’s commitment to Eastern Kentucky. This project not only creates jobs but also strengthens our local economy,” said Floyd County Judge Executive Robbie Williams.
With this investment, IDCG is set to play a key role in Eastern Kentucky’s economic growth, positioning Floyd County as an emerging leader in advanced manufacturing and construction services.
