Slovakia showcases innovation at 10th Three Seas Summit in Warsaw

The 10th Three Seas Initiative (3SI) Summit convened in Warsaw on the 28th of April 2025, marking a decade of regional collaboration among Central and Eastern European nations. Beyond political discourse, the summit emphasized economic integration, with Slovakia playing a pivotal role in promoting innovation and cross-border partnerships.

The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO), in collaboration with the Office of the President of the Slovak Republic, the Ministry of Economy, and the Slovak Embassy in Warsaw, facilitated the participation of 26 Slovak companies. These enterprises engaged in the Three Seas Business Forum, a key event aimed at fostering economic synergies across the region.

The Business Forum, held on April 28–29, featured over 1,000 participants, including business leaders, experts, and corporations. Discussions spanned critical sectors such as transport, energy, digitization, resilience, the space industry, and finance, highlighting the region’s commitment to sustainable development and technological advancement.

President Andrzej Duda of Poland underscored the significance of the initiative, stating, “There is no doubt that the Three Seas Initiative has become the most important platform for regional cooperation in our part of Europe and, I believe, in the European Union. We are the driving force of the European economy and a very attractive destination for investment in these challenging times.”

Slovak President Peter Pellegrini addressed the forum, advocating for reduced overregulation within the European Union to enhance competitiveness and innovation.
