The Santa Clarita Valley Economic Development Corporation has appointed Christopher Page as its new Director of Business Development as the organization continues efforts to support business growth, investment, and regional economic development in the Santa Clarita Valley.

In the role, Page will work closely with businesses, developers, brokers, employers, and regional partners to support business attraction, retention, and expansion initiatives across the region. He will also help companies navigate resources related to site selection, workforce development, incentives, and permitting.
Page joins SCVEDC with experience in economic development, business engagement, and public-sector partnership development. Prior to joining the organization, he served as Project Manager for the Economic Development Division with the City of Pasadena, where he supported business expansion, relocation, and investment initiatives. His work also included guiding businesses through entitlement and permitting processes.
Before his time in Pasadena, Page held several positions with the City of Santa Clarita, including roles within the Economic Development Division and the City Manager’s Office. In those positions, he worked on economic development projects and collaborated with local employers and community stakeholders.
SCVEDC President and CEO Ondré Seltzer said Page’s regional knowledge and business-focused approach will support the organization’s economic development goals.
“Christopher’s combination of local knowledge, analytical expertise, and relationship-driven leadership will be a great asset to SCVEDC and the business community,” Seltzer said. “He understands the Valley’s strengths and will play an important role in supporting our ongoing economic development priorities.”
Page earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from University of La Verne and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at California State University, Northridge.
SCVEDC said businesses seeking assistance with expansion planning, workforce connections, permitting, or investment-related resources are encouraged to contact Page directly.
