Jones joins the firm with more than 15 years of experience spanning government affairs, public policy, political strategy, healthcare advocacy, and higher education relations.

According to the company, Jones will focus on legislative and executive branch strategy, coalition building, and helping clients navigate state government and public policy challenges.

“I have spent my career at the intersection of politics, policy, and advocacy, and Triad is where that kind of experience gets put to work at the highest level,” Jones said. “I am thrilled to join a team that has earned the trust of clients across virtually every major policy arena.”

Before joining Triad, Jones served as Senior Director of Government Affairs for the Pennsylvania Homecare Association, where he led state and federal Medicaid advocacy efforts on behalf of more than 700 home care, home health, and hospice providers. The organization said he also developed its grassroots advocacy infrastructure and managed political engagement initiatives tied to long-term care policy in Pennsylvania.

Jones previously served as Chief Strategic Relations Officer for Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education, overseeing government relations and communications efforts across 14 universities. During his tenure, he helped lead higher education reform legislation and supported efforts that secured more than $175 million in one-time funding alongside nearly $100 million in recurring state funding.

Mike Manzo, executive vice president at Triad Strategies, said Jones’ experience across healthcare and higher education policy will strengthen the firm’s advisory capabilities.

“Cody’s experience in health care and higher education will be an asset to Triad’s clients,” Manzo said. “He’s able to assess any situation and help all parties navigate the complexities, creating win-win solutions for everyone.”

Roy Wells, president and managing partner of Triad Strategies, said Jones’ appointment aligns with the company’s continued growth strategy and focus on evolving client needs.

“As Triad continues growing and being nimble in this ever-evolving world, meeting the changing needs of our clients, we knew Cody would be the right addition to the team,” Wells said.

Earlier in his career, Jones managed and advised political campaigns across congressional, gubernatorial, attorney general, and U.S. Senate races. He also worked for the President of the Kentucky Senate and the Attorney General of West Virginia.

Triad Strategies said Jones’ appointment reflects the firm’s continued investment in public affairs, coalition building, and strategic government relations as organizations increasingly navigate complex regulatory and legislative environments.
