Ezeflow USA-Flowline to invest $6.5M in Pennsylvania

Ezeflow USA-Flowline will invest $6.5 million to expand its manufacturing operations in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, creating 30 new jobs while retaining 81 existing positions.

The expansion, announced by Governor Josh Shapiro, will see the global pipe fitting manufacturer add 20,000 square feet to its New Castle facility to support the production of critical components for U.S. Navy and commercial nuclear applications.

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is supporting the project with a $210,000 Pennsylvania First grant, coordinated through the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED).

Governor Shapiro said the investment highlights Pennsylvania’s competitiveness in advanced manufacturing.

“Pennsylvania’s skilled workforce, strong manufacturing base, and strategic location make the Commonwealth a prime destination for private sector growth and investment,” Shapiro said.

Ezeflow USA-Flowline manufactures stainless steel, nickel, and aluminium butt weld fittings used across the oil and gas, chemical processing, defence, aerospace, and nuclear industries. The company is also a Tier 1 supplier supporting U.S. Navy submarine and aircraft construction programs.

The facility expansion will increase manufacturing capacity to help fulfil the company’s growing defence contracts while strengthening Lawrence County’s industrial base.

DCED Secretary Rick Siger said the project reinforces Pennsylvania’s strategy of attracting advanced manufacturing investment.

“Ezeflow USA-Flowline’s expansion is the kind of investment Pennsylvania is working to attract and support,” Siger said. “This project will create new jobs, strengthen a key manufacturing operation, and reinforce Lawrence County’s role in Pennsylvania’s industrial economy.”

Company President Jeff Burns said the expansion reflects both increasing customer demand and the strength of the region’s manufacturing ecosystem.

“Flowline has been a foundational manufacturing business for over 85 years, and we are very fortunate to have a community partner that can help us rapidly expand,” Burns said.

The investment aligns with Pennsylvania’s broader economic development strategy, which identifies advanced manufacturing as one of the Commonwealth’s priority industries for driving innovation, investment, and job creation.

Since taking office, the Shapiro administration says it has secured more than $41 billion in private-sector investment, supporting the creation of more than 24,000 jobs across Pennsylvania. Recent manufacturing projects announced across the state include expansions by Nokia, Eli Lilly, Johnson & Johnson, Schreiber Foods, and Calgon Carbon.

The Ezeflow expansion further strengthens Pennsylvania’s position as a manufacturing hub for defence, energy, and advanced industrial supply chains while supporting long-term workforce growth in western Pennsylvania.
